The Fells Point Privateer Festival – always one of Baltimore's most popular springtime events – is returning with a new name and even more fun for every member of the family. Starting this year, the event is called the Fells Point Maritime Heritage Festival, and will build on the original privateer theme with a broader focus on local maritime history.
The new-look festival is a chance to explore Baltimore's history of seafaring, maritime commerce, and shipbuilding, with historic demonstrations that take you back to another era. Of course, there will also be great food, drinks, shopping, and plenty of kid-friendly activities. Our real estate agents have the details on what to expect from the Fells Point Maritime Heritage Festival this year.
The Event: Fells Point Maritime Heritage Festival
Date/Time: April 27, 2019 – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Admission: Free to Attend – Special Ticket Packages Available

Our REALTORS® know Baltimore homes for sale better than anyone. They also know the ins and outs of everything else this historic city has to offer. Many newcomers to Maryland would never even guess that Baltimore is home to a vibrant Little Italy. Let's take a closer look!

Fells Point is a fascinating Baltimore neighborhood on the north shore of famous Baltimore Harbor. In a bustling city of 620,000, it has a sense of history all its own. Settled in 1670 and officially founded in 1732, it spent centuries as the center of Baltimore's vibrant immigrant communities welcoming people from all over the globe.
Since the 1970s, people from elsewhere in the U.S. have increasingly discovered its joys. When you visit Fells Point, you find a compact neighborhood where owning a car is strictly optional. With only a touch over 5,000 residents, it is considered one of the most walkable places in Maryland.
With all its amenities and convenience to downtown, Fells Point is a community with charm. One lovely institution you simply must see when seeing Fells Point is the Vagabond Theatre.

We're right in the midst of Baltimore Summer Restaurant Week, which means that if you live in Baltimore and you like to eat, you're probably having a pretty good time.
This event showcases delicious (and affordable) lunch, brunch and dinner menus all over the city, and our REALTORS® in Baltimore want to share some of their favorite local eateries that are participating during Restaurant Week. Be sure to check out these top-notch dining destinations during the event:

Fells Point may not be Baltimore's biggest neighborhood, but it sure feels that way when you walk its historic streets. For one, Fells Point is full of successful businesses, and the dynamic people who help those businesses thrive. Many of Fells Point's most popular local businesses have been serving the city for generations, and fit seamlessly into the fabric of Baltimore just like the neighborhood's gorgeous historic homes. Kali's Court, one of the most popular dining spots in Fells Point, is one great example, and it may have a new look by the next time you go there.
Kali's Court is being rebranded as the Fells Point Tavern, and its new appearance gives us the perfect excuse to take a closer look at the businesses – and people – that make Fells Point special.
