Are you ready for two days of bluegrass, brews, and the best food Baltimore has to offer? Then head on down to Druid Hill Park on April 26th and 27th for the 7th Annual Charm City Bluegrass Festival. Our real estate agents are absolutely thrilled that this award-winning festival is back for another fantastic year of family-friendly festivities. If you're looking at Baltimore homes for sale, or if you're a current resident who hasn't yet attended the festival, we encourage you to spend the weekend making new friends and memories at one of Charm City's favorite get-togethers.
Baltimore has a rich history of bluegrass music. In celebration of the city's music culture, the Charm City Folk & Bluegrass Festival was founded in 2013. Fans of music, food, and fun turned out in droves for the inaugural event. The festival was then moved to Druid Hill Park to accommodate the large crowd, and the park has hosted the event ever since. For years, the festival—now known simply as The Charm City Bluegrass Festival — has picked up a share of local and international acclaim, winning such awards as the Best Festival as voted by Baltimore Magazine and the Momentum Award for Event of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association. The Charm City Bluegrass Festival has become a Baltimore tradition that residents and visitors look forward to year after year.

The Fells Point Privateer Festival – always one of Baltimore's most popular springtime events – is returning with a new name and even more fun for every member of the family. Starting this year, the event is called the Fells Point Maritime Heritage Festival, and will build on the original privateer theme with a broader focus on local maritime history.
The new-look festival is a chance to explore Baltimore's history of seafaring, maritime commerce, and shipbuilding, with historic demonstrations that take you back to another era. Of course, there will also be great food, drinks, shopping, and plenty of kid-friendly activities. Our real estate agents have the details on what to expect from the Fells Point Maritime Heritage Festival this year.
