Baseball season is coming into full swing in Central Pennsylvania as the Reading Fightin Phils sit comfortably at the top spot in the Double-A Eastern division of the Eastern League. The Reading Fightin Phils - known to locals as the Reading Fightins or simply the Fightins – are a minor league baseball team and since 1967, they've been a Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. According to their website, this 49-year relationship is tied for the second-longest relationship of its kind in Minor League Baseball history.
Minor League Baseball is an attractive option to locals for several reasons:

The Baltimore real estate area is a great place to buy a house if you love spending time outdoors. Taking in an Orioles game at Camden Yards on a spring afternoon or enjoying a walk through the Inner Harbor are well-known local pastimes, but many people don't realize that Baltimore is home to an excellent selection of parks. In addition to providing gorgeous scenery, many of Baltimore's parks also showcase the city's rich history, and the people who made it all possible.
Our BHHS Homesale Realty team of Baltimore REALTORS® has created a list of our five favorite parks in Baltimore. As a bonus, we've kept the focus on parks that are also located in very popular neighborhoods for home buyers.

The Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, located just a block from city hall and a quick walk from the Inner Harbor, brings world-class entertainment and a variety of things to do in Baltimore. The Beatles made an appearance back in the 1960s at the height of their fame, and the fun hasn't stopped since. Royal Farms Arena has regularly ranked among the top grossing arenas in North America, and its ability to draw top acts means that there's something for every taste throughout the year.
While there's plenty to love about Royal Farms Arena, we've got more pressing matters to discuss. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are coming to town on April 20th, and time is running out to get your ticket to see one of the most popular live acts of all time.
