If you're hungry after your apple picking adventure, stop by Karen's Kitchen for baked treats like apple crisp and apple cider doughnuts, as well as heartier options like soups, burgers, and barbecued pulled pork. Strites' Orchard has been owned and operated by the same family for over 100 years. The owners are proud to be running one of the oldest farms in the area. Recently, they've spent some time focusing on sustainability efforts, including their Community Supported Agriculture program, which allows them to plant their crops in eco-friendly seasons and patterns.
You can pick your own delicious apples right from their orchard seven days a week. Most of their trees grow good old-fashioned apple varieties like Macintosh and Granny Smith, but you'll also find a few rarer varieties like Jonathan, Jonagold, and Stayman Winesap.

Cherry Hill Orchards has been running for 52 years straight, and yes, despite their name, they do grow apples too! Forty-five varieties of them, in fact, including hard-to-find gems like Red Rubin, Macoun, Modi, and Smokehouse apples. After you've gathered your fill of apples, head down to the Farm Market to add some more goodies to your haul. This quaint shop is filled with baked treats, jams and jellies, homemade salsas, jarred and fresh fruits and vegetables, and fresh apple cider for all of your fall snacking needs.
- Susquehanna Orchards - 560 Orchard Road, Delta, PA 17314
Susquehanna Orchards has been in business since 1922, making this year their 100th anniversary. They're still going strong with many delicious apple varieties available to pick, including EverCrisp, Gold Rush, and Pink Lady. There is also a small shop on the premises where you can buy locally-sourced milk, eggs, cheese, meats, and other types of fresh produce.
