Coming right up on Sunday, November 10, the 9th Annual Red Hot Run 5K and Family Walk is a great opportunity to run or walk for a good cause. Proceeds from the race benefit the Roland Park Country School, and the race will also be held at the school, which is located just minutes from these Baltimore homes for sale. Be sure to also stick around for the post-race celebration, which includes awards, massages, snacks, games, a photo booth, and other activities.

The Baltimore Recreation & Parks $5 5K Series is now in its fourth year, and it's proud to present Trot the Trail 5K at Herring Run on November 10. The race follows a lovely course through beautiful Herring Run Park, surrounded by brilliant fall foliage. The park is a wonderful 375-acre urban oasis in the heart of Baltimore and an absolutely perfect spot for a fall run. All proceeds going toward park programming, making this a great opportunity to support Baltimore's parks, all while enjoying the landscapes they preserve.

On Saturday, November 16, the Zaching Running Festival arrives at Turf Valley Resort. The event includes a 1-Mile Family Fun Walk, along with 5K and 10K races that will follow the cart path of the beautiful Turf Valley Golf Course, right around the corner from many Ellicott City homes for sale. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation (ZACF), a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of programs and support for cancer patients, caregivers, family members and others affected by the disease.

It's hard to imagine a better place for a run than the Maryland Zoo, an incredible wildlife attraction that spans 135 acres and houses more than 2,000 animals. The annual Zoo Zoom returns to the Maryland Zoo on November 17, 2019, offering a chance to explore the landscape and see the creatures that call it home, all while running in support of the zoo's animal care, education, and wildlife conservation programs.

On November 28 (Thanksgiving morning) the annual Baltimore City Y Turley Trot returns to Baltimore for its seventh straight year. Walkers and runners of all ages are invited to hit the turf on this 3.1-mile course, which begins at the Weinberg Y in Waverly, and circles around the picturesque shoreline of Lake Montebello before ending back at the Y. It's a great way to get primed up for your big Thanksgiving dinner, and all participants are encouraged to dress up in their finest Thanksgiving-themed costumes!
