Summer Events at the Fire Museum of Maryland
Looking for a fun, educational way to keep kids busy this summer? The Fire Museum of Maryland offers summer events included with museum admission every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 11 a.m. from July through August. Wednesday mornings are the Summer STEM Club, where kids can participate in a different science project each week. Thursdays feature the Fire Rescue Game, where kids can try on and learn about fire rescue equipment, followed by Story Time on Friday mornings.
Steam Show and Antique Car Show
Look for the Fire Museum of Maryland in the community this summer for a series of popular annual events. The Antique Car Show, featuring a wide variety of vehicles, takes place at the museum on July 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On September 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the museum hosts the Honoring Our Heroes Motor Muster, in honor of firefighters, EMS, police, and military personnel.
