Winter Wonderland Canal Walk
When: January 16th
Join over 100 walkers from the Seneca Valley Sugarloafers Volksmarch Club on an 11K trail from Carderock Park to Olmsted Island at Great Falls. Take in local sites including three locks, a lock house, and the Great Falls Overlook of the Potomac River.
Outdoor Ice Skating
Pandora Ice Rink at Baltimore's Inner Harbor

Take a spin in the Inner Harbor as the waterfront ice rink returns for its second year.
Silver Spring Ice Skating at Veterans Plaza
Where: Veterans Plaza 8523 Fenton Street, Silver Springs, MD 20910
The new outdoor Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink is in downtown Silver Spring at Veterans' Plaza, surrounded by great restaurant, shops, and plenty of parking. It is in a convenient location for the Washington DC Metro area. Parking is free after 8pm on weeknights and all day on weekends!
Skating at The Square (Rockville)
Where: Rockville Town Square
The ice rink is the largest outdoor ice skating rink between Baltimore and Washington DC. It is the largest in all of Montgomery County. The rink is 7,200 square feet.
Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink
Where: 600 Quiet Waters Park Rd, Annapolis, MD 21403
The Quiet Waters Park ice rink offers a pleasant and safe family environment to enjoy ice skating outdoors. Skates, helmets and walkers are available and we also sharpen skates on site. A party room is available for birthday parties and get-togethers. Park admission and fees apply except when noted otherwise.
