West Shore Park in Baltimore will again be transformed into the Inner Harbor's very own German Christmas Market beginning Thanksgiving Day. Inner Harbor residents along with friends and family will gather to welcome the holidays with thousands of twinkling lights, two Christmas Trees, live music and entertainment children's activities and more.

Now in its third year, Christmas Village in Baltimore has grown into one of the city's most popular holiday attractions with this year's expected attendance topping 200,000 people.
This year's Christmas Village in Baltimore will take from Thanksgiving, November 26 through Sunday, December 27. The only days the village won't be open are December 1st, 8th, 15th, and 25th. The regular hours are:
The village is located at West Shore Park/Inner Harbor, 501 Light Street in Baltimore. Weekdays tend to be less busy than weekends, so if you want to avoid the crowd shop Monday through Friday. Weekdays are also free. The cost to visit the village on weekends is $1-$5 depending on the day and your age. Make sure to check the parking recommendation before you make the trip.

This year brings some wonderful events to add to your calendar. The kickoff is a grand opening celebration. Although the village will open on Thanksgiving Day for a Sneak Peek, the official ceremony is Sunday, November 29th. Christkind from Germany will make an appearance via water taxi, and you'll be able to enjoy live music from a local choir. The main highlight is the lighting of the Christmas tree at 4:30 p.m., and it will be accompanied by more live music. Santa and Gingy will be in attendance as well.

When you've tired yourself out shopping, visit a food vendor and indulge in Bratwurst, beer, crab sandwiches, waffles, hot chocolate, cider, crepes, schnitzels, and many other delicacies.
