Baltimore celebrates July 4 with a BANG! Residents will commemorate Independence Day with a citywide celebration in Downtown Baltimore topped off with a true Fourth of July fireworks display guaranteed to be second to none.
The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to organizing major events at the Inner Harbor including holiday celebrations, art festivals, cultural exhibits, and more. The 4th of July Celebration, sponsored by Ports America Chesapeake, is one of the biggest events coordinated by the office.
The celebration officially kicks off at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 4 with a performance by Thunderball at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. The U.S. Naval Academy Band Electric Brigade is scheduled to perform at 7:00 PM, and the fireworks show starts at 9:30 PM.
