Fells Point in Baltimore, founded in 1726, was originally a shipbuilding and manufacturing town. It was in Fells Point that the famous "Baltimore Schooners" were first built, and even though the area is no longer in the business of shipbuilding, its nautical roots run deep.
Today, Fells Point is a beautiful waterfront community that is home to some of the best dining on Chesapeake Bay along with tourist attractions, exciting night life, and Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps.
