Hampstead, MD is a town known for its rich history and commitment to family living. Originally known as "Spring Garden," the city was originally a wagon stop along the Baltimore-Hanover Pike. Crab Cakes. Greenmount Station is famous in Hampstead and all over Carroll County for their crab cakes that have been named Carroll County's Best. Only fresh jumbo lump crab is used, and you can stop in for a plate or order them online to be shipped anywhere in the U.S.
Appetizers. All your favorites are here including Buffalo Chicken Strips, Loaded Waffle Fries, wings, nachos, and more. For lighter fare, try the Veggie Plate with choice of dressing for dipping.
Soups and Salads. Maryland Crab and Cream of Crab soups are a must-try, as well as the Texas Chili with cheese and onion. Many crisp salad options are available including side salads and a fresh spinach salad. Make it a meal with the Citrus Salmon Spinach Salad or the Black and Bleu Steak Salad.
Sandwiches. Every combination under the sun is served on bread here. From Tuna Salad to an Italian Sub, or the Club Car with ham and turkey, the Open Faced Roast Beef and the Chicken Chesapeake. If you like it, they have it between two slices of bread.
Classic Meals. If you're coming for dinner, you won't be disappointed. Seafood choices abound, along with ribs, burgers, a spicy black bean Veggie Burger, chicken dishes, pasta dishes, and a host of sides from rice to cole slaw to sweet potato fries.
