Started in March 2019, The Wine Collective is a full urban winemaking facility. It is the first winery in Baltimore City and serves as a co-op for vintners and farmers to bring the region's best grapes under one roof and make local, premium wines. Their pintxo bar is the first in Baltimore and reflects a food and wine obsessed culture. The menu is primarily based on local produce, small production cheeses and charcuterie, and tinned fish from boutique canneries. Sample their wine collection in their beautiful Barrel Rooms, Tank Cellar, main Tasting Bar, and Private Tasting Room. A 24- to 72-hour notice is needed for reservations. Private tasting with their winemaker is available upon request.
- The Wine Source - 3601 Elm Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21211
Nestled in the soulful and trendy Hampden neighborhood, The Wine Source is a local wine shop with hundreds of wines categorized by location. You'll find a section dedicated to Maryland-made wines, another for organic wines, and helpful shelf-talkers providing tasting and food pairing suggestions. Flow charts describe the production process of certain wines, and a bulletin board provides info on the latest news from the industry. Located close to Hampden homes for sale, visit the shop any day and sample white, rose, and red wines for $4.
- Boordy Vineyards – 12820 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082, Marekani
Just minutes from Baltimore County homes for sale is Maryland's oldest winery, Boordy Vineyards. The winery has two vineyards in two Maryland climates. South Mountain Vineyard produces red varieties that include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Viognier, and Chardonnay. Long Green Vineyard in Baltimore County creates Sauvignon Blanc, light reds, and roses. Take the half-hour tour of the winery and vineyards, followed by a tasting of seven wines from its Landmark Series and Chesapeake Icons.

In 2009, three siblings set out to start Old Westminster Winery & Vineyard to produce delicious wines and preserve their family farmland. After two years of thorough research and education, they planted their first 7,600 Syrah, Albarino, Cabernet, and Chardonnay grapevines. The winery produces 60,000 bottles annually, with half coming from their vineyard and the other half from neighboring vineyards. As you consider Westminster homes for sale, visit the winery on weekends to sample five seasonal wines at the onsite tasting room, 40 miles northwest of Baltimore. Canton's Chesapeake Wine Company is a wine shop with a bar in the middle, just east of the Inner Harbor and Fells Point, in Baltimore. You can taste or drink in the bar, on the veranda outside, or takeout your drinks and snacks. In addition to wines and spirits, their bar menu offers house-cured olives, artisanal cheeses, house-made tapenades, hot-smoked salmon, small pizzas, pate, and other snacks that taste great with wine. Chesapeake Wine Company does wine tastings every Tuesday starting from 7 pm. They also offer occasional Saturday afternoon tastings in cooler months.
